Di sela-sela berbagai kabar memuakkan dari negeri +62, dalam jangka waktu satu pekan, penulis menghadiri dua even menarik yang memberikan sedikit percikan optimisme akan masa depan negeri ini, khususnya di bidang teknologi. Yang pertama adalah Indonesia Research and Innovation (Inari) Expo sekaligus Indonesia Electric Motor Show (IEMS) yang digelar oleh BRIN (Badan Riset dan Inovasi Nasional) pada 8-11 Agustus 2024 d i ICC Building BRIN Cibinong dan Indonesia Drone Expo 2024, yang digelar oleh Asosiasi Sistem dan Teknologi Tanpa Awak (ASTTA) sebagai bagian dari even besar Indonesia Technology and Innovation (INTI) Exhibition 2024 pada 12-14 Agustus 2024 di JCC Kemayoran, Jakarta. Ini adalah kedua kalinya saya mendatangi kedua even tersebut, setelah tahun 2023 lalu hadir demi mencari alternatif vendor drone untuk DJBC . It's August. A celebratory month for Indonesian, since this year we celebrate our 79th year of independence from the collonial.  Hooray. Every corner of this country was painted red and white.  Fun games are being held nearly everywhere; from crowded city alley to village field close to the forest; from elementary school to the campuses; from private-owned business to the govermental institution.
